Waiver & Discount Policy

SSJ Publications is committed to supporting the global research community by providing fair and transparent Article Processing Charge (APC) waiver and discount opportunities while maintaining the quality, integrity, and sustainability of its publishing services.

Waivers and discounts may be considered for authors from low-income and lower-middle-income countries, students, early-career researchers, authors with demonstrated financial constraints, invited papers, special issues, conference collaborations, and editorial board members, subject to the publisher's current policy and eligibility criteria.

All waiver and discount requests must be submitted during the manuscript submission process or before acceptance. Requests received after article acceptance or publication may not be considered. Each application is evaluated individually based on the information provided by the corresponding author and available supporting evidence.

Editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of the manuscript's scientific quality, originality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope. The editorial and peer-review process is completely independent of APC payments, waiver requests, or discount eligibility. Authors requesting financial assistance receive the same impartial review as all other submissions.

SSJ Publications reserves the right to approve, partially approve, or decline any waiver or discount request at its sole discretion. This policy may be revised periodically to ensure transparency, fairness, and the long-term sustainability of the publisher's open-access publishing program.
